Get to know me

I'm not an originator or a deals hunter. I'm a builder, the one who takes existing opportunities and matures them into projects, partnerships or P&Ls.

I am a former board level executive with more than 25 years of experience maturing energy projects — from early development through project financing close and FID — across LNG and renewable gases. ​​Today, I work as an independent advisor helping energy companies and investors mature projects to financial close — combining commercial structuring, financial modelling, and portfolio governance with the operational discipline to execute at scale.

I've spent my career turning ambitious energy visions into the things that make them real - project finance and FID, partnerships and JVs, portfolio due diligence, construction budgets, operational readiness programs. And I've owned every link of that chain. Closing a mult-billion LNG project financing, negotiating JV shareholder and operating agreements, preparing a 6 GW multi-technology portfolio for capital raising, running a major transformation PMO (over 450 FTE) through a hypergrowth phase. Most people in the energy transition have done one of those. I've done all of them.

I've deliberately moved between industry and advisory, between the boardroom and the projects, between operations and corporate functions, because I wanted all of it: the strategic view, the business reality-check, and the accountability for making projects work, or for calling when they shouldn't go ahead. ​The result is a rare vantage point. I can look at a project and see the capital structure, the governance, the operating model, and the people at once, and I know where each one breaks.

Across thirty years, though, what's left the deepest mark is the people: the ones I worked with, the ones I mentored, the teams I built or rebuilt. I'm a trained coach and a builder by instinct, and I'm most alive when leading people.
